RegioWikiCamp 2009

The RegioWikiCamp is an open conference for all RegioWiki actors throughout Europe.
RegioWikiCamp 2009 was held from September 25th to 27th. The event was located in Furtwangen the middle of the beautiful Black Forest in Germany. It was organised by the European Regiowiki Society, location host was the Faculty of Digital Media of Furtwangen University.
The RegioWikiCamp follows the idea of BarCamps - that means there will be no paid speeches and all participants are asked to contribute. Attending the RegioWikiCamp is free.
In addition to the Regiowiki Actors the camp addressed interested experts from:
- open content projects like Wikipedia and OpenStreetMap
- open license projects like CreativeCommons and GNU Free Documentation License
- technology providers like wiki engines and extension developers
- and the fields of eGouvernment, eDemocracy, Web 2.0 and Semantic Web
